Canada - Proposed MRLs for Clethodim Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), Health Canada has notified document PMRL2017-17 is to consult on the listed domestic maximum residue limits (MRLs) for clethodim that have been proposed by the Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA). MRL (ppm)1 Raw Agricultural Commodity (RAC) and/or Processed Commodity 3.5 Dry shelled peas and beans (crop subgroup 6C)2 1 ppm = parts per million 2 The MRL of 3.5 ppm is proposed to replace the currently established 0.5 ppm MRL for beans, dry peas, dry chickpeas and dry lentils. MRLs are proposed for each commodity included in the listed crop groupings in accordance with theResidue Chemistry Crop Groups webpage (http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/cps-spc/pest/part/protect-proteger/food-nourriture/rccg-gcpcr-eng.php) in the Pesticides and Pest Management section of Health Canada's website. Products covered : Pesticide clethodim in or on dry shelled peas and beans Proposed date of adoption : Normally within four to five months from the posting of the Proposed MRL document on the Health Canada website.
