Canada - Proposed MRLs for Pyroxasulfone

Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), Health Canada has notified document PMRL2017-16 is to consult on the listed domestic and import maximum residue limits (MRLs) for pyroxasulfone that have been proposed by the Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA).

MRL (ppm)1  Raw Agricultural Commodity (RAC) and/or Processed Commodity

  0.3                    Peanuts

  0.15                  Dried shelled pea and bean, except soybean (crop subgroup 6C)

  0.07                  Flaxseeds

1 ppm = parts per million

MRLs are proposed for each commodity included in the listed crop groupings in accordance with theResidue Chemistry Crop Groups webpage (http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/cps-spc/pest/part/protect-proteger/food-nourriture/rccg-gcpcr-eng.php) in the Pesticides and Pest Management section of Health Canada's website.

Products covered : Peanuts, Dried shelled pea and bean, except soybean, flax seed

Proposed date of adoption : Normally within four to five months from the posting of the Proposed MRL document on the Health Canada website.

Final date for comments : 30 July 2017
