Canada - Radio communications products needs to comply with Interference Causing Equipment Standard ICES-003 until April 30, 2019

Department of Innovation, Sciences and Economic Development has issued notice that the Industry will have time to comply with Interference Causing Equipment Standard ICES-003, Issue 6 (Amendment 1), Information Technology Equipment (Including Digital Apparatus) – Limits and Methods of Measurement compliant until April 30, 2019 to ensure that external thermostats sold, offered for sale, manufactured, imported, distributed or leased are compliant with ICES-003.

Proposed date of entry into force : 4 April 2017  

Final date for comments : 14 July 2017
