GCC – Amendments to technical regulation on canned pacific salmon proposed by Oman

Directorate General for Specifications & Metrology, Oman proposed that the Omani/Gulf technical regulation concerns with the characteristics and requirements that should be met in canned pacific salmon. Items (3, 4, 5, 8 and 9) Definitions, Forms of packaging, Requirements, Packaging, Storage & Transportation and labelling are compulsory. Remaining items are voluntary.

Proposed date of entry into force : 180 days from date of publication of approved version.

Final date for comments : 60 days from notification
