Kazakhstan – proposing amendments to Technical regulation on Safety of Milk and Dairy Products

Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has issued notification proposing draft amendments No. 2 to the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union "On Safety of Milk and Dairy Products" (TR CU 033/2013) provides clarification of requirements for names and rules of labelling of milk-containing products

Objective of this measure toprevention of misleading actions of milk and dairy products consumers with regard to its purpose and safety

Proposed date of adoption: Not less than 180 days from adoption of the technical regulation.

Proposed date of entry into force: Not less than 180 days from adoption of the technical regulation.

Final date for comments: 29 May 2017
