Israel - Proposing mandatory standard for Two layered polyethylene film for milk and for liquid milk products as voluntary

Israel WTO-TBT Enquiry Point has issued notification thatexisting Mandatory Standard, SI 977, dealing with two layered polyethylene film for milk and for liquid milk products, shall be declared voluntary. This declaration is done due to the fact that two layered polyethylene film are no longer in use in milk bags in Israel and that milk bags should comply with Israel Mandatory Standard SI 5113.

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
