Chile - Draft basic energy efficiency analysis and/or test protocol for electrical products (double-capped fluorescent lamps for general lighting services)

Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles, SEC (Electricity and Fuel Board)has notified Protocol establishes the certification procedure and energy efficiency labelling requirements fordouble-capped fluorescent lamps for general lighting services, in accordance with the scope and coverage of International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Standard No. 60081 (2002) and addenda A1:2000, A2:2003 and A3:2005 thereto.

Lamps of a length exceeding 1200 mm and lamps with a rated wattage greater than 40 W are exempt from these requirements.
