Canada proposed Maximum Residue Limit for Pethoxamid

The objective of the notified document PMRL2019-31 is to consult on the listed maximum residue limits (MRLs) for pethoxamid that have been proposed by Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA).

0.01              Dry soybeans; eggs; fat, meat and meat by-products of cattle, goats,                               hogs, horses, poultry and sheep; field corn; milk; popcorn grain; sweet corn                      kernels plus cob with husks removed; undelinted cotton seeds 

Products covered: Pesticide pethoxamid in or on various commodities (ICS Codes: 65.020, 65.100, 67.040, 67.060, 67.080, 67.100, 67.120, 67.200)

HS Codes: 02, 03, 04, 0504, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24

Proposed date of adoption:  Normally within four to five months from the posting of the Proposed MRL document on the Health Canada website

Proposed date of entry into force:  On the date the measure is adopted             

Final date for comments: 4 February 2020
