Philippine proposes new technical regulations on mandatory product certification of electronic cigarette

Department of Trade and Industry prescribes the Technical Regulation for the mandatory certification of electronic cigarettes, refillable or disposable, regardless of the format or model of the vaporizing device, used with non-tobacco-containing e-liquids whether or not they contain nicotine.

Proposed date of adoption:This Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation at least once a week for a period of not less than one (1) month, a copy of which shall be submitted to the UP Office of National Administrative Register.
