Argentina establishes the essential design and manufacturing requirements and characteristics to which the machines and equipment sold in the Argentine Secretary of Internal Trade notified constitutes the regulatory framework that establishes the essential principles and requirements of quality and safety required of machines and equipment sold in the territory of the Republic of Argentina. The Project covers machines, interchangeable equipment, safety components, lifting accessories, removable mechanical transmission devices, quasi machines, and cables, chains and straps. Exclusions are listed in article 2 of the text that is notified. Specific technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures will be issued, with respect to each of the family's products as long as their particular characteristics merit it, always based on the determined guidelines of this regulatory framework. National manufacturers and importers of the products achieved by this measure will be responsible for enforcing compliance with the technical requirements and conformity assessment procedures established, as well as those established in the specific regulations. The implementation of the notified measure will occur according to the deadlines established in each of the specific regulations that are issued.
