EU notify administrative requirements for the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers

European Commission proposing implementing act and annexes contain the initiatives to lay down the administrative requirements for certificate templates, information documents, numbering systems, test result sheets and the format of test reports necessary for granting EU and national type approvals under the framework Regulation (EU) 2018/858.

These amendments secure that the type-approval authorities use harmonised templates, markings and presentation of the most relevant test information when granting type-approvals under EU Regulation 2018/858.

Products covered : Vehicles and their trailers (M-, N- and O-category vehicles), and of systems, components and separate technical units for such vehicles.
