Kazakhstan introduces temporary restrictions on import of cattle and other animals from Novosibirsk Region, Russian Federation On the basis of the World Organization for Animal Health, the Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports outbreaks of nodular dermatitis registered in the Novosibirsk Region of the Russian Federation. In this regard, since 22 August 2019, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the importation and transit through Kazakhstan of cattle and other animals susceptible to nodular dermatitis, as well as genetic material obtained from them; products obtained from cattle, as well as susceptible animal species, without proper processing, ensuring the destruction of the virus of nodular dermatitis; raw leather materials obtained from the slaughter of cattle and other susceptible animals; used equipment for the maintenance and transporting cattle and other susceptible animals from the Novosibirsk Region of the Russian Federation..
