Kazakhstan introduces temporary restrictions on import of cattleand other animals from Tyumen Oblast, Russian Federation The Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports that, on the basis of the official notification of the World Organization for Animal Health, from 26 September 2019, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the importation and transit through Kazakhstan of cattle and other animals susceptible to nodular dermatitis (contagious nodular dermatitis), as well as genetic material obtained from them; products obtained from cattle, as well as susceptible animal species, without proper processing, ensuring the destruction of the virus of nodular dermatitis; raw leather materials obtained from the slaughter of cattle and other susceptible animals; used equipment for the maintenance and transporting cattle and other susceptible animals from Tyumen Oblast of the Russian Federation.
