Argentina has incorporated the Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum pest into the phytosanitary requirements of propagation material (seeds) of the host species originating in the countries with presence of the pest

National Agrifood Health and Quality Service (SENASA) has incorporated the Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum pest is communicated to the phytosanitary import requirements for propagation material (seeds) of the host species ( Apium graveolens Daucus carota Foeniculum vulgare Foeniculum vulgare var. Azoricum, Foeniculum vulgare var . sweet Foeniculum vulgare var . capillaceum and Petroselinum crispum ) originating in countries with presence of the pest.   

Also and before detection in other hosts in countries with presence of the pest, it will be incorporated into the phytosanitary requirement.

Proposed date of adoption: September 30, 2019

Proposed date of entry into force:  October 14, 2019

Final date for comments:  December 9, 2019
