Canada has proposed Maximum Residue Limit for pesticides in tea leaves       

The objective of the notified document PMRL2019-22 is to consult on the listed maximum residue limit (MRL) for fluazinam at 6.0 ppm and for flonicamid at 40 ppm in dried tea leaves that has been proposed by Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA).

Proposed date of adoption: Normally within four to five months from the posting of the Proposed MRL document on the Health Canada website

Proposed date of entry into force:  On the date the measure is adopted.

Final date for comments: 10 November 2019
