Canada has proposed Maximum Residue Limit for Flumioxazin

Revision of maximum residue limits (MRLs) have been proposed by Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA).

For flumioxazin:

MRL (ppm)¹Raw Agricultural Commodity (RAC) and/or Processed Commodity

0.06                 Fat, meat and meat byproducts of cattle, goats, hogs, horses and sheep; milk

0.02                 Eggs; fat, meat and meat byproducts of poultry

0.05                 Hops (dried)

For fluroxypyr-meptyl:

MRL (ppm)¹   Raw Agricultural Commodity (RAC) and/or Processed Commodity

0.5                    Triticale

Products covered: Pesticide flumioxazin in or on various commodities; fluroxypyr-meptyl in or on triticale

HS Codes: 02, 04, 1302, 100860

Proposed date of adoption: Normally within four to five months from the posting of the Proposed MRL document on the Health Canada website

Proposed date of entry into force: On the date the measure is adopted

Final date for comments: 3 November 2019
