South Korea has proposed Draft of Standards for Quality Certificated Children Preference Foods.

The proposed amendment seeks to:

• Revise the Standards for Safety Manufacture:

Include "Good Import Food Company" and "Good Foreign Food Facility" as Certification target;

• Revise the Standards for Food Nutrition:

Limit the highly caffeinated food and lower the standard of protein and vitamin etc.;

• Revise the Standards for Food Additives

Expand the list of food additives that are not available such as Food Red No. 2.
