China proposes administrative rules on the recall of vehicle for environmental protection

State Administration for Market Regulation of the People's Republic of China (SAMR), Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China (MEE) jointly drafted this regulation to implement the Law of Air Pollution Control, to regulate vehicle recall for environmental protection, to control air pollution, to protect environment and human health and clarify information reporting obligation of vehicle producers, defect investigation and recall implementation procedures, regulatory duties and legal responsibility.

Products covered : Motor vehicle; Motor cars and other motor vehicles principally designed for the transport of persons (other than those of heading 87.02), including station wagons and racing cars
