South Korea recommended level of Pyrrolizidine Alkaloids in pollen products.

Ministry of Food and Drug Safety recommended level: No more than 0.2 mg/kg during for period from 1 September 2019 – 31 August 2020. Corrective measures will be taken in case a food product exceeds the recommended level: Urge to meet the recommended level and recommend actions for improvement (such as voluntary recall, labelling correction, etc.). In case actions for improvement are not executed to meet the level, relevant information will be publicly disclosed. The legal basis for this notification is The Food Sanitation Act Article 7-2 (Illustrations of Recommended Specifications, etc.).
