Rwanda proposed specification for footwears, Textiles and water Rwanda Standards Board (RSB) proposed following: 1) Footwear — Specification for children's shoes — Part 1: (2 years and below): This East African Standard specifies the requirements, sampling and methods of test for children's shoes (2 years and below). Products covered: Footwear HS code: 64 Click Here for Notification 3) Water quality — Irrigation water — Tolerance limits: The standard specifies essentially a user needs of the quality of water required for different irrigation uses. It is intended to provide the information to make judgements on the fitness of water to be used for irrigation purposes, primarily for crop production. The standard is applicable to any water that is used for irrigation purposes, irrespective of its source (municipal supply, borehole, river, etc.) or whether or not it has been treated. It covers all knit, lace, stitch-bonded, foam back and woven fabrics to be used in the manufacture of curtains and drapery. It is applicable to all fabrics except those made of glass. Except where otherwise indicated, these requirements also apply to fabrics for window blinds.
