EU proposes analysis methods for determining the physical, chemical and organoleptic characteristics of grapevine products and notifications of Member States decisions concerning increases in natural alcoholic strength European Commission Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 provides for European Union (EU) rules on categories of grapevine products, oenological practices and the applicable restrictions for the wine sector and empowers the Commission to adopt delegated and implementing acts setting out the technical details on these matters in particular on authorised oenological, practices, products and processes for all the categories of wine products. The purpose of this implementing act is to supplement Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 as regards the applicable EU analysis methods and the notification of EU Member States decisions allowing an increase in natural alcoholic strength. The Delegated and Implementing Regulations repeal and replace Commission Regulation (EC) No 606/2009 of 10 July 2009 laying down certain detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 479/2008 as regards the categories of grapevine products, oenological practices and the applicable restrictions(OJ L 193 24.7.2009, p. 1).
