France establishing safety regulations for the construction of high-rise buildings and the protection of such buildings against fire and panic hazards

Ministère de l'intérieur(Ministry of the Interior)  notifies order seeks to maintain the restriction on the use of flammable fluids in high-rise buildings and to prevent the creation of a loophole through the reference made by Article GH 37 of the safety regulations for high-rise buildings to Article CH 35 of the safety regulations for establishments open to the public.

Certain Articles of the fire safety regulations for establishments open to the public, most notably Article CH 35, are in the process of being amended with a view to authorizing the use of flammable refrigerants, which until now have been prohibited. Article GH 37(2) of the fire safety regulations for high-rise buildings refers to the provisions of Article CH 35.
