  1. Thedefinition of processingaidisnewlyestablished and thetoxicological data onsubmission of a dossier forprocessingaid and flavouringsubstances are reduced.
  2. The standard formanufacturingforalkaliadditivesfornoodlespreparationsisdeletedbecause of duplicationwithitsdefinition.
  3. Thespecifications of thefollowing 5 foodadditives are revised:

α-Amylase, β-Carotene, Disodium Ethylenediaminetetraacetate, Ferrous Sulfate, Monosodium L-Glutamate

  1. The general name of 2 followingsyntheticflavouringsubstancesiscorrected:

4-Hydroxy-2,5-dimethyl- 3(2H)-furanon, p-Methyl acetophenone
