For Safety and consumer protection, GCC proposes regulation for Guideline for setting of tolerances for label declared nutrient value. This guide is not concerned with the permissible tolerances when the addition of vitamins and minerals is mandatory or the minimum and maximum limits of energy, nutrients or any other components specified by the relevant national legislation, nor does it apply to the tolerance differentials on food labelling cards for special nutritional uses.
