Burundi proposed prohibiting the importation, manufacture, marketing and use of sachets and other plastic packaging

Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism proposed this Decree is:

- establish a control framework for the use of sachets and other packaging;

- promote the use of materials that do not degrade the environment;

- prevent all kinds of pollution caused by bags and other plastics
