Thailand proposed Food Containing Pesticide Residues (No. 2)

For consumer protection, the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) is proposing to revise the MOPH notification concerning the maximum residue level of pesticides in food through a risk-based framework focused on either short-term (acute) or long-term (chronic) exposures using Thai food consumption data and field trial data. The main elements of the draft notification are as follows:

The following Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) are added to the annex 2 of the notification of the Ministry of Public Health, No. 387 (B.E. 2560) (2017), Title: Food Containing Pesticide Residues, issued on 18 August 2017, as follows:
