Brazil proposed technical regulation for Portable tanks bulk containers (IBC) used in land transport of certain dangerous goods

National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology-INMETRO proposed technical regulation approving technical quality requirements for reusable packaging, portable tanks and intermediate containers - IBC, used in the land transport for retail market transportation of hazardous automotive fuels, manufactured, imported and distributed in the national territory, according to the National Land Transportation Agency (Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres - ANTT) Resolution 5.232/2016, for conformity assessment through certification, observing the deadline established in art. 3 of this Ordinance.

It is worth noting that the comments made regarding Inmetro Ordinance 601, 17 December 2015, published in the Official Gazette, 18 December, 2015, section 01, page 115, and Inmetro Ordinance 125, 16 March, 2016, published in the Official Gazette, 17 March, 2016, section 01, page 46, were taken into account in the preparation of this text.
