Turkey proposes Communiqué on the amendment to Conformity Inspection of Some Consumer Products Ministry of Customs and Trade DG Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance proposes amendment specifies additional reference standards that will be considered about the conformity (the product meets essential requirements or not) of the products that are stated in the annex and also set new requirements about decorative products growing in liquid, balloon with volatile gas which presents high risk to consumers with different/false uses. In addition, certain reference standards (TS EN 1273, TS EN 1466, TS EN 1130, TS EN 1888, TS EN 12586, TS EN 14682, TSE EN 14878) and provisions (Novelty lighters, Food imitation products) previously issued in different legislation have been transferred to this Communiqué for the purpose of updating existing legislation.
