Mexico proposed provision of telecommunications services when using a public telecommunications network

Ministry of Economy proposed Official Mexican Standard is of general and mandatory observance for all natural or legal persons engaged directly or indirectly to market, provide and / or provide services and / or telecommunications equipment to consumers in the Mexican Republic.

For purposes of this Draft Official Mexican Standard, telecommunications networks are not those used to provide the broadcasting service.

The suppliers are excluded from using adhesion contracts:

a) When participating in procurement processes with public entities, for the provision of their telecommunication services;

b) When their clients do not fit into the Consumer definition of the Federal Consumer Protection Law; Y

c) When wholesale services are contracted, only for said services.
