Mexico proposed Official Mexican Standard PROY-NOM-036-SCT3-2017, which establishes the maximum permissible noise limits produced by aircraft Ministry of Communications and Transportation proposed all national or foreign Licensees, Licensees or Air Operators who operate or intend to operate within the Mexican Republic and the airspace under the jurisdiction of the Mexican State. Likewise, it applies to all Entity Responsible for the Type Design of the aircraft, which intends to obtain its Certificate of Noise Homologation of its aircraft. The scope of application of this Official Mexican Standard does not include aircraft that perform overflight operations within the airspace under the jurisdiction of the Mexican State, unless an alternate civil aerodrome within the Mexican Republic is specified in its operational flight plan; likewise, it is not applicable to aircraft belonging to or in possession of foreign Airline Operators or Perceivers who intend to enter or leave national territory for purposes of maintenance on ferry flights (without passengers, cargo or mail).
