Philippines proposed Mandatory Philippine National Standards (PNS) for Self-Ballasted LED Lamps for General Lighting Services

Department of Trade and Industry – Bureau of Philippine Standards proposed Order, all manufacturers, distributors, importers, and retailers of Self-ballasted LED Lamps shall comply with the requirements of the Philippine National Standards.

The scope of implementation shall cover Self-ballasted LED-Lamps for General Lighting Services by Voltage > 50 V - Safety Requirements covered by PNS IEC 62560:2012, intended for domestic and similar general lighting purposes, having:

-              a rated wattage up to 30 W

-              a rated voltage > 50 V up to 250 V

-              E14 and E27 caps
