Saudi Arabia temporarily bans importation of Equine from France

Livestock Risk Assessment Department, Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has issued notification on temporarily bans importation of Equine from France. Following the OIE report, ref. No. 01, Vol. 31 dated 29 December 2017, which indicates that Equine infectious anaemia has occurred in France, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of the disease into the country. Therefore, the importation of equine from France to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.
